Have you ever found “the one,” only to have that one get discontinued? We feel your pain, ladies. It’s a heartbreak you never really move past, but in order to heal the wounds, we must find closure. So, to honor the ones we’ve loved and lost, here are 10 discontinued beauty products we miss so much it hurts.

10 Discontinued Beauty Products We Miss Every Day

When it comes to products we’ve loved and lost, we can still vividly recall the first moment we came across that product. Almost like a rom-com starring Jennifer Aniston, our love of makeup occurs at first sight, almost instantaneously. Then, like every other relationship, it can either get better with time or you start to realize that this, devastatingly enough, might not be the one for you.

Even worse than realizing the search for your soul mate is still on is finding your soul mate and then having it be discontinued. I mean, c’mon, cosmetic companies! I’ve devoted so much of my life to you that you’re just going to play me like that? Cold. Ice cold.

Well, you’re not alone in this struggle, ladies, because trust us when we say we’ve all been there. Even Oprah has had her favorite makeup discontinued. Sure, she has enough pull to have something custom-made for her, but that’s a minor detail we’d prefer not getting into.

To help you move on (or tearfully burn the souvenirs), here are discontinued beauty products we’re still mourning over.

Heartbreaker #1. Giorgio Armani – Designer Shaping Cream Foundation

When this creamy, light-to-medium coverage foundation was discontinued, olive-skinned women everywhere were disappointed. But!, if this was your HG, you’ll be pleased to know that the brand did release “Crema Nuda” — an alternative to the cult-favorite.

Heartbreaker #2. Clinique – Acne Solutions Body Treatment Spray

We’re still not sure why this oil-free spray was discontinued, since so many people loved the effectiveness of this product. If you’re still on the hunt for an acne-treating body spray, try Murad Clarifying Body Spray.

Heartbreaker #3. M.A.C Cosmetics x Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday Lipstick

MAC Cosmetics collaborated with Nicki Minaj to create the perfect shade of pink in 2010. When released, it sold out in seconds but hasn’t been reissued since! Unfortunately, we still haven’t found a decent dupe, so if you have one, please let us know!

Heartbreaker #4. Maybelline New York – The Flash Clean Makeup Removing Lotion

Many  have and still mourn the disappearance of this makeup remover. It was a gentle, creamy lotion that could get rid of the most stubborn waterproof makeup. R.I.P.

Heartbreaker #5. M.A.C. – Lipstick in Dressmaker Dressmaker

Dressmaker Dressmaker was the perfect peachy shade. It’s just a shame it was a limited edition color.

Heartbreaker #6. Bath & Body Works – Coconut Lime Verbena Body Lotion

The Coconut Lime Verbena Body Lotion was a *chokes up* good lotion. It always made sure we were soft, moisturized, and supple, and really… *starts crying* we’re just really going to miss it.

Heartbreaker #7. Assorted Chanel Nail Colors (especially Khaki Rose)

Now in addition to our favorite lippie, we always have that favorite nail polish color (Lincoln Park After Dark). These assorted Chanel nail colors were fab!

Heartbreaker #8. John Frieda – Beach Blonde Ocean Waves

This spray made beach waves so easy to accomplish! Now we have to shower, braid our hair, go to sleep… oh, wait… That’s pretty easy too, but still. Our beach waves will never look the same again. Thanks, John Frieda.

Heartbreaker #9. Shu Uemura – Prime Plenish Vitalizing Shampoo

This shampoo impacted so many people’s hair around the world, life just will never be the same without it.

|

Heartbreaker #10. Maybelline – Lash Stylist Mascara

Phased out in 2009, devotees are still mourning this mascara’s discontinuation. Everyone loved it for its easy-to-use applicator and smooth finish.
